The genre of this double page spread is pop and I can tell this by the artist used, the colour scheme and the information within the text. The brit award that Jessie J is holding in the smaller image gives away the genre too because that certain award is given to pop artists. All the information within the double page spread alludes to the genre pop, however a lot of aspects of the overall outcome of this double page spread say otherwise.
The layout of this double page spread is full and columned. The text is of a small size, which is what it's supposed to be on a double page spread and the images are different shot types. Although the artist is of a pop genre, the lack of images - as there are usually multiple in a pop magazine on every page - suggests otherwise, which can be confusing and possibly misread readers. Also, different size fonts are used for the title, subtitle and the rest of the text and some of the text is highlighted in the colour orange, to highlight importance of that particular information. The small alliteration used in the top right corner is a nice touch, as it actually slightly sums up the page content by stating "Fun Fearless Female" and also, appeals to the young audience with it's imaginative use of a language technique.
A bad side to this double page spread is that a small part of the text in the first column, overlaps he large medium shot of Jessie J on the left.

The model: Jessie J in the smaller image - which is a full body shot - in the bottom right, is smiling slightly and holding a brit award which she won. The colours she is wearing are all black, which doesn't appeal to the genre pop, however the brit award shows colours which are bright and the image overall is happy, which does in fact appeal to the audience.
The larger Image, taking up half of the double page spread is well taken, bright and clear. The lipstick Jessie J is wearing is a light orange which compliments the colour scheme, however she is not smiling, she is showing a more smouldering look which does not match the genre.
The target audience of this double page spread I believe is 13-18 year olds. I think this because of the artist used, Jessie J, who is listen too by a younger audience, particularly females. Also, the colour scheme: white, black and orange appeals to the younger audience because of the summer colour (orange and white).
